You've stopped caring about yourself.

When "self-care" isn't really self-care

You think that you are solving your issues by going on youtube, scrolling on Instagram, or chatting with your friends. But you are not. All you are doing is avoiding.

Here is what you need to do to solve your problems:

  • Take a walk

  • Eat well balanced meals

  • Stop listening to everybody and anybody, start listening to yourself. (Even if your voice sounds like your mother who cant be pleased)

The issues in your life can only be solved by you, because they are unique to you.

Here's is what happens:

You are really good at justifying you comfort zone. You say that its better to not take a risk, not change your habits or its not the right time. So you stay stuck behind your tv, eating pizza and not going after your goals.

Wen you get a moment of clarity and make a plan, you justify yourself again by saying 'after this season, I'll do it next week. Pizza sounds great right about now" keeping you feeling disgusting, yet safe, waiting until the next time you feel motivated.

Here is the thing about motivation:

It comes from action. Action is energy. You act first, and then motivation comes. That motivation fuels more action which then motivates you more. The cycle goes on.

But because you are too comfortable, you listen to that 'safe' voice too much, you are unable to make the proper sacrifice. You stay stuck in your current life, postponing your dream life.

So where to go from here:

You have to fix the three pillars of life: Mind. Body. Soul. You need a system to do this. Systems and structures is how we find stability.

First: Stabilize the body

You have to eat nutritious meals. Nutritious food provide hormones, bacteria and chemicals that balance your gut, nervous system and your brain. You have to stop with:

  • Alcohol

  • Fried foods (Pizza, hamburgers, chili dogs)

  • High fat foods (Butter, oil, animal fat)

  • Dairy (for some)

  • Processed food (Cereal, cookies, chips, boxed snacks)

  • Coffee (on an empty stomach)

Then: The mind:

Here is where you have to overcome that 'safe' voice. Beating yourself up, feeling guilty, and saying 'next time' are not words that cause action.

You have to change the way you stalk to yourself to get moving and stay on that path. Learn how to challenge those words, expectations, and beliefs to get moving

Finally : Beliefs

You have to have a positive outlook on the future. Be hopeful. Know that you can manifest the body, relationship, wealth, and the feelings of happiness simply because they are possible.

You have to connect that future possibility to your current reality. By connecting the two, the two start to gravitate towards each other

Just because I told you want needs to be done, does not mean you will.

Simply because your inner voice holds you back. Your inner self want to always feel good. It thinks that the change will be scary, painful, & useless.

You have to overcome this through persuasion. Not discipline.

  • Discipline is hard. its force. its hateful and cold.

  • Persuasion is easy. its flow. its kindness and warmth.

The secrete to change is emotions. You have to attribute the change you are making with feeling good. You do this by building a connection between what you are doing and the emotions.

  • Eating nutritious meals feels good

  • Thinking positively, and acting feels good

  • Thinking well of the future and God feels good

You can change your negative, self hatred feelings into positive, self-ensuring feelings.

Building this connection is what will keep you on the path to change because all humans ever want is to feel good. So if the habits are making your feel good, you will stick to them since that’s what you are after.

You need all three a complete transformation, but starting on the Mind-Body Problem is my first suggestion because it provides stability to the body
